About the Festival

Dzada Film Fest is a proper opportunity to feel good energy, to “breathe’’ art and enjoy it. We want you to fantasize with us and share special moments with the movie creations that we offer.

Dzada Film Fest is a film festival that takes place in Podgorica in early June and lasts for seven days. This year it is being  recognized as the first International Debut Feature Films Festival in Montenegro.

Let us not forget that many great artists of the seventh art were first noticed at such festivals. We want our debutants to become recognized and well-known, where their achievements will speak for themselves.

Dzada Film Fest nurtures the concept of an open-air cinema, featuring great film performances on the streets of the Capital City, with the aim of promoting the seventh art and cooperation and affirmation of young artists from the film world.

From our beginnings, we are moving forward and we are trying to make useful and beautiful things for our environment and society.

The festival continuously promotes the importance of preserving the environment, renewable energy sources, urban mobility, new technologies, as well as supporting young artists from all spheres of art.

With the Festivals’ fourth edition we introduced a special program dedicated to children, called “Dzada Junior”, which gave the space for our kids to fully enjoy the Festival.

With the fifth edition, this year, we are achieving what we wanted from the beginning – to be the first International Debut Feature Film Festival in Montenegro.
